KS2 Literacy Group

£144.00

A specialist skills group to support children with their learning needs. 

This will be a small group, with a maximum of 4 students, that will meet in person at our Gentle Learning Classroom. Each session will follow a carousel model and will include the following:

One-to-one reading, Touch Typing, SNIP Spelling, Word Shark

Each group is £24 per session and will run for 6 weeks per half term, costing £144 each half term.

One-to-one reading

Your child will have one-to-one reading time with me to develop their reading skills and confidence. 


Touch Typing

The Students will have the opportunity to practice touch typing with me present to support them. We will address any difficulties they may be experiencing and assist them with the next steps.


SNIP Spelling

Each student will work at their own pace on the SNIP spelling programme. This multisensory learning tool supports students in learning and retaining the spellings of the most commonly used words in English that often do not follow phonics rules. Sometimes called key words, tricky words, or common exception words. 


Word Shark

Word Shark is a multisensory learning platform specially created for Dyslexic learners in mind. It teaches spelling patterns for reading and spelling using a variety of games.
