SNIP Spelling practice

£40.00

SNIP is a multisensory spelling scheme developed by two dyslexia specialist teachers. It works on the 100 keywords (now known as common exception words or tricky words). You know, the ones like what and where, they and there, or said and laugh, which either look the same as one another, or do not look at all how they sound.

It is an automatic assessment tool and intervention. There are 9 words in each set, and 5 multisensory activities to complete for any words or groups of words that are difficult for your child. These activities are short and follow the little-and-often principle to bring new learning from your child's working memory into their long-term memory.

These summer sessions are a great opportunity to plug those gaps in spelling knowledge and give your child some confidence moving forward.

Monday 3rd - Friday 7th August 2026 at 10:50-11:30 each morning.
